ROOTED IN SHEFFIELD

Artumi Systems is run by husband and wife team Richard and Mandy Fletcher, who have lived in Sheffield since 2000. Richard graduated in Maths from the University of Sheffield in 2002 and worked for a couple of local web development companies before going it alone in 2006. Mandy joined in 2008.

Over the years we have had offices at Regus on Ecclesall Road, Bank Street Arts and Sheaf Bank Business Park. Sheffield's tech scene is relatively small, and the contacts we made early on, including designer Jerry Lampson, who we still work with today, have been invaluable.

We have worked with clients all over the UK, from a Manchester ecommerce business to national organisations such as the TUC and a Royal College. But we love working with Sheffield organisations, and being able to sit down in the same room still makes a difference.

Sheffield feels like the largest village in the UK. It has all the infrastructure of a big city, but it's such a friendly place with a great community.

OUR WORK IN SHEFFIELD

From the City Council to Broomhill shops and local volunteer groups, we have been part of Sheffield's web for two decades.

Sheffield City Council

Technical partner on the Big Challenge for about 10 years: a youth enterprise scheme that a decade of Sheffield's school children took part in, with prizes including trips to Asia for the winners.

David Village Lighting

A designer lighting retailer in Broomhill. We have been their website provider and technical support since 2009.

Sheffield Conservation Volunteers

Richard has looked after the technical side of their website since the early 2000s.

Sheffield Environment Weeks

An annual celebration of local environmental groups and their events. Richard is the chair, and we have worked on its website.

UTC Sheffield

Richard spoke to T-Level students at UTC Sheffield Olympic Legacy Park, building a website live from scratch.

Local organisations

We help local Sheffield charities and community groups with websites, hosting and technical maintenance. See our social impact work.

WHAT SHEFFIELD CLIENTS SAY

Artumi have been our website provider and technical support for well over 10 years, and have been a major part of our company’s growth in that time. They offer a very professional, smooth, and reliable service, and just as importantly, are easy to work with – and always available.
James Village Managing Director, David Village Lighting
Richard from Artumi Systems came to deliver a talk to our Web Development students. The presentation was great!! […] Smooth confident concise delivery, demonstrating how to build a website from scratch with full back end integration, using a range of industry standard tools and making it look easy, the sign of a true professional!

WHAT WE DO FOR SHEFFIELD ORGANISATIONS

We are PHP and Laravel specialists. We don't build WordPress sites: we build the bespoke websites and systems that businesses depend on, and look after them for the long term.

MEET A SHEFFIELD WEB DEVELOPER

When you work with us you talk directly to the developers building your system. We are happy to meet in person in Sheffield, and work with organisations across South Yorkshire, North Derbyshire and the rest of the UK.
