Barrington Accounting Solutions
Barrington Accounting Solutions have a small brochure style website, which has some content management features. The company wanted a clean look fairly free of graphics. Artumi systems provided the complete package for Barrington, including design, development and hosting.

UniWorks
UniWorks is a site targeted to provide information to potential students about the courses they could take, in particular the site uses Graduate and Employer questionnaires to provide statistics to indicate what kind of salaries are available to the students who have already passed the course. The site is a joint project between the Careers Services of Sheffield Hallam University and The University of Sheffield.
The site already existed and needed updating in terms of design and function. Again, QR8 provided the design and project management, and our role was putting the site together with the existing MSSQL database.

Green Top Circus
Green Top Circus is a Yorkshire's only Circus School. They provide training in Sheffield and can produce a number of public shows each year. They also cater for corporate events. Green Top Circus required a site that they could edit themselves, and covered their broad range of activities. QR8 asked Artumi Systems to produce the CMS driven site based upon image mockups provided by QR8.

Capland Estates
Capland is a student letting agency in Sheffield in the UK. Their existing site was static HTML and therefore it did not allow the staff to keep the information they provided to Sheffield's student population up to date. QR8 asked Artumi Systems to produce the CMS driven site based upon image mockups provided by QR8. Capland now have the ability to keep the site up to date and have a much more attractive and accessible site.

SoftAssure Limited
SoftAssure is a reseller of Yosemetie products, and is the UK Distributor. Artumi Systems were called in by QR8 and Metrea to provide a specialised contact form and a protected download area which could be updated as new software became available.

BidALoad
BidALoad Ltd have launched a service based on the fact that 1/3 of trucks on Britain's roads are travelling empty. Their service is about connecting goods with Hauliers in order to produce efficiencies throughout the country's road transport system. Artumi Systems were called in by QR8 and Metrea to provide all the programming support to make the site a reality.

Nikken Kosakusho
Nikken Kosakusho Ltd produce high quality Rotary Tables and machine tools for the manufactoring industry. Artumi Systems were called in by QR8 and Metrea to provide a content management system for Nikken's new website.

Gemini Biomedical Ltd.
Gemini Biomedical provide non-invasive testing to Insurance companies at a number of pharmacies in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. For their UK Operations Gemini Biomedical asked us to provide a post code based location search for the use of Insurers to determine if there is a pharmacy to carry out testing near a particular individual.
Artumi Systems provided the complete package in this case, including the Web Design.

Online 4 Baby
Online 4 Baby Limited of Oldham, Manchester have asked Artumi Systems to create an eCommerce system which can deal with all aspects of their eBay Business. They sell baby products on eBay and plan to expand by opening their own website. Having multiple sales routes brings about complications when it comes to stock control. Their quick growth also means existing systems are near breaking point. The new system involves segregating staff responsibilities into well defined roles, which will allow delegation of tasks that had before only been manageable by Directors for security reasons.
Change Minds website
This is one of the first web design projects that Artumi Systems has completed. Change Minds are a counselling service based in Holmfirth. There website is essentially of the online-brochure variety. This site is a reasonable example of our design capability.

Short links
There are many situations where you want to pass a URL (such as http://www.artumi.com/projects.html) in an email or over the phone. Sometimes they are very long. TinyURL.com offer a service where you can take these links and produce shorter ones to replace the first. We have copied this functionality and extended it, as TinyURL uses letters which could be confused when read out over the phone. See the short links website for more information.
Other Projects
Because Artumi Systems is a new company it has, at the moment, very little complete it can call its own. However, Richard Fletcher, who runs Artumi Systems is an experienced PHP developer who has worked on a number of websites whilst working for his previous employer.

Prospect Trade Union
- Web address: www.prospect.org.uk
- Company profile: Prospect is a successful Trade Union with over 100,000 members and represents members of both the public and private sector. Their members include engineers, scientists, managers and specialists in areas as diverse as agriculture, defence, energy, environment, heritage, shipbuilding and transport. They are the largest union in the UK representing professional engineers.
- Purpose of website: To allow various parts of the organisation to be able to communicate with members more effectively, and allow members more input and insight into the Union.

Volunteer Africa
- Web address: www.volunteerafrica.org.uk
- Company profile: Volunteer Africa is a registered charity who charge volunteers to go and help local communities in Africa. The money charged is used to fund the projects that the charity runs. The charity has a volunteer staff located throughout the world and had problems with organisation
- Purpose of website: To allow the staff to have a central repository of all the information relating to the volunteers, mainly to get them through the complex application stage, but also to be a source of information in case of an emergency during a trip.

Department of Work and Pensions
- Web address: Sorry, internal website only
- Client: The Department of Work and Pensions is a UK Government organisation which is responsible for many public services including, the Job Centre, the Pension service, the Health and Safety Commission and the Child Support Agency.
- Purpose of website: The website presented and administered a questionnaire designed to evaluate members of staff and their personal development needs. The website was for this reason only accessible internally to the staff. Those candidates who took the questionnaire were to have their scores calculated automatically and compared to the other candidates. The system sends an email to the candidate which includes a PDF file of their results and advice as to how to proceed.
