Primo - eBay Sales, eCommerce, stock control and more!
Primo is the codename of the current project which is under development. Its aim is to provide a single system which can be used to deal with orders made both from eBay and a dedicated web shop, as well as other sales channels, such as a traditional mail order business.
The project was started because a power seller with eBay called Online 4 Baby were having problems finding a system which would be able to unify all these disparate sources of information. They wanted to be able to hire staff to do administration work, but could not give the their eBay password to such staff and so have been forced to do much of the administration themselves.
Primo offers the full system, you can:-
- Manage your eBay listings.
- Manage your online shop.
- Manage your orders, currently we have integrated with Business Post's systems. We will happily integrate with another provider's systems assuming they allow it, included in the price of Primo.
- Take credit card details through your own site - providing extra professionalism. Currently we only have the code to do this with Protx, but are happy to add a payment provider of your choice.
- Send newsletters to your customers.
- Full stock control. We currently have a stock allocation system where you state how quickly the goods move and the system makes sure that your warehouse is operating as efficiently as possible. This is another area where every individual company tends to want something different and we are quite happy to change our system in any way your require to get the job done.
- You can limit who can do what in the administrative process, meaning you can formalise how your business works and clarify who does what.
