Sheffield Conservation Volunteers
Sheffield Conservation Volunteers are a charity that required a new website to promote themselves and to find new members. Having been established in 1978 they were the proud winners of the lifetime achievement award from Sheffield City Council in 2008.
We provided a CMS and the design.
Gemini Biomedical
Gemini Biomedical provide non-invasive testing to Insurance companies at a number of pharmacies in the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Gemini Biomedical asked us to develop and devise a system used by the countries leading Insurers (AXA and the Prudential) as well as Lloyds Pharmacies and Co-Op pharmacies to provide a health screening service.
Unfortunately, as the Credit Crunch hit, Gemini Biomedical's financial backers withdrew support and Gemini is in administration at the time of writing.
Online 4 Baby eBay Shop
Online 4 Baby had been trading successfully using the standard eBay shop, but as their customers have become more sophisticated, the way they sell has had to change. Artumi Systems took a flat design produced by QR8 and distorted the eBay design via CSS in order to make the shop pages look much more professional. Online 4 Baby's sales have gone up substantially since this change went live.
David Village Lighting
David Village Lighting sells designer lighting online. The three interlinked sites we created, based on the design provided by QR8, allow David to sell his products to more customers, and thanks to our integration work with Google Base (which is used for the Google Shopping Search) we were able to get sales to the site almost immediately.
Custos Cover
We were approached to take on an existing piece of code which uses GPS and mobile phone technology to track vehicles. Custos cover sell this service to fleet managers and we were asked to maintain and improve their web based application which allows the GPS data of vehicles to be used.
We created extra tools for the analysis of the data and for fleet management, and linked into the DVLA database of vehicles to allow the fleet manager to check up on the various data on their vehicles as held by the DVLA.
Hannah Martin London
This site is an eCommerce solution for one of this country's leading jewellery designers, allowing Hannah to sell some of her creations directly to her clients. QR8 produced the funky new design which we integrated into the site.
Neurocare
Neurocare is a charity based here in Sheffield, and their aim is to communicate to current and potential donors. As you can see on our Testimonials page, the staff are very pleased with the result, and the easy Content Management System they have to work with. QR8 provided the design which Artumi integrated to the site.
LightWorks Design
LightWorks Design provide the 3D rendering engine required by many other programs. One of their more interesting requirements was that they wanted to draw attention to specific parts of specific images to demonstrate the abilities of their software. Our solution uses Javascript and HTML Image Maps and can be viewed here. We are particularly pleased with the administration of this page, which uses the mouse to select the area that corresponds to each pop-up picture. This code required collision detection type algorithms to prevent one area being selected for two different images, which would break the rule that a single click takes you to a single page. Our partners QR8 provided the design template which Artumi integrated into the site.
AskKinjo
AskKinjo is a Canadian company who provided an automated phone service based upon the location of the caller. It ties in with Mobile Phone companies in order to determine the location of the caller, and can then offer personalised services. We produced the website account registration and administration which links in to a database designed by AskKinjo which is used directly by the phone service. The registration allows users to alter what kind of information they are provided with when they call #KINJO.

We were approached to create an online quiz for Pressies 4 Princesses, try it out!
Failsafe Heating
This is one of our rare sites where we did the design as well as the Content Management System. Failsafe Heating want to sell themselves better and wanted to be able to provide extra information to existing customers.
Waste Research Limited
This is one of our rare sites where we did the design as well as the Content Management System. Waste Research needed to sell themselves better and wanted to be able to change the site themselves.
Barrington Accounting Solutions
Barrington Accounting Solutions have a small brochure style website, which has some content management features. The company wanted a clean look fairly free of graphics. Artumi systems provided the complete package for Barrington, including design, development and hosting.
UniWorks
UniWorks is a site targeted to provide information to potential students about the courses they could take, in particular the site uses Graduate and Employer questionnaires to provide statistics to indicate what kind of salaries are available to the students who have already passed the course. The site is a joint project between the Careers Services of Sheffield Hallam University and The University of Sheffield.
GreenTop Circus
Green Top Circus is Yorkshire's only Circus School. They provide training in Sheffield and can produce a number of public shows each year. They also cater for corporate events. Green Top Circus required a site that they could edit themselves, and covered their broad range of activities. QR8 asked Artumi Systems to produce the CMS driven site based upon image mockups provided by QR8.
Capland Estates
Capland is a student letting agency in Sheffield in the UK. Their existing site was static HTML and therefore it did not allow the staff to keep the information they provided to Sheffield's student population up to date. QR8 asked Artumi Systems to produce the CMS driven site based upon image mockups provided by QR8. Capland now have the ability to keep the site up to date and have a much more attractive and accessible site.
BidaLoad Ltd
BidALoad Ltd have launched a service based on the fact that 1/3 of trucks on Britain's roads are travelling empty. Their service is about connecting goods with Hauliers in order to produce efficiencies throughout the country's road transport system. Artumi Systems were called in by QR8 and Metrea to provide all the programming support to make the site a reality.
Nikken Kosakusho
Nikken Kosakusho Ltd produce high quality Rotary Tables and machine tools for the manufacturing industry. Artumi Systems were called in by QR8 and Metrea to provide a content management system for Nikken's new website. This CMS also allows for multi-lingual functionality of the site.
Online 4 Baby
Online 4 Baby Limited of Oldham, Manchester have asked Artumi Systems to create an eCommerce system which can deal with all aspects of their eBay Business. They sell baby products on eBay and plan to expand by opening their own website. Having multiple sales routes brings about complications when it comes to stock control. Their quick growth also means existing systems are near breaking point. The new system involves segregating staff responsibilities into well defined roles, which will allow delegation of tasks that had before only been manageable by Directors for security reasons.
Simply put, we have developed a system to allow increased automation of eBay operations for sellers with a large number of sales and a warehouse.
